She used to be magical. Nowadays, Jana is one of the hottest up-and-coming adult talents in the business – and she loves it when you dream about her!

Jana Jordan is now living in Los Angeles and staying extremely busy doing magazine photo layouts, adult videos and raking it in with her website, idreamofjana.com. Yet like so many before her, she started as a Bayou Girl – doing a bikini shoot for Bayou Bikini Co. before landing an appearance in Playboy which set her on her way to her current fame.

When she did the shoot for Bayou Bikini, she was making a living as a magician’s assistant. She said she enjoyed the stage work, but that “Modeling became a bigger priority to me in the end so I didn't have time to do any more shows.”

Blessed with incredible good looks spread around a 5-foot-3, 95-pound frame, the platinum-tressed, green-eyed Jana says it’s the excitement of being in front of the camera she enjoys the most.

“Well I’m a very laid back girl, but when the camera is in front of me it turns me on,” she says. “I'm not a total horn ball out in public!”

And turn on she does – so much so that she’s featured in THREE major adult publications this month, in addition to Vixen!

“My Hustler, Rockstar and Barely Legal mags come out this month so make sure to pick a copy!” she says. “I'm also doing a few shows on Playboy TV.”

She also hinted that she’s working on landing a contract with a video production company to become a regular with that company, but said the company’s name “remains a secret” for now.

Jana got her career off to a great start with an appearance in Playboy. She said she was nervous at first, but credit her friend (and fellow Bayou Girl) Jannah Burnham with making everything go great.

“I was 18 and the photo shoot was in Austin, Jannah was there and I was really nervous, but the pics turned out great in the end,” she says.

After doing the Playboy appearance, Jana launched her first website, janarocks.com – where she was featured scantily-clad but never nude. She says she didn’t feel comfortable doing the nudity with the webmaster of that site.

“The guy I was working with on my first website was a creep, so I never felt comfortable getting nude in front of him,” she says. “I met my new webmaster and was cool to get nude in front of him for photos, so I was happy about it.”

The new site, idreamofjana.com, has exploded and thrust Jana into the limelight as a major adult web star. She’s made guest appearances on dozens of other sites – we highly recommend her series with Sexy Teen Sandy! – and is rooming now with Martina Warren, the 2005 Penthouse Pet of the Year.
 

” I became friends with her while I was in LA working and she mentioned that she had a room for rent in her house and if I ever decided to move to LA for good that I could stay,” Jana says. “So here I am.”

She’s had the opportunity to work with a number of other high-profile models, and said her favorite is Hustler contract model Nikki Nine. Her dream, she says, is to work with Jana Cova – another one of those multiple-Jana layouts we’d all love to see!

Jana says most of her video action is the real thing.

“I do like girls and if it was with a girl I'm into, then it’s the real thing, if it's not someone I like then it’s acting,” she says, adding: “I like most of the girls I’ve worked with.”

She says the popular notion of the adult industry beinga  “dream job” is waaaaaaaay off the mark.

“Working in this industry can be stressful. The hours are long, and you get tired easily,” she says. “I keep my relationships private with boys, but if I’m at a party with my girlfriends, I'm all up for some fun and public display of affection.”

She has little tolerance for critics of the industry.

“Complete bullshit,” she responds to those who say that porn lacks artistic value. “Check out www.ninnworx.com and andrewblake.com … it’s art.”

Growing up in the Houston area, Jana now says that the Left Coast is more her style.

“I hated Houston, the people are ignorant and rude for the most part,” she says bluntly. “And traffic in Houston is nothing to traffic in LA ... LA is amazing, so many different people, different styles and I feel like I fit in and am more accepted here in LA than I ever was in Houston. I consider LA my home.”

She’s now concentrating on expanding her options.
 

“Well, I hope to be a contract girl and get my name out there ... be on the cover of as many magazines and movies as possible and get good publicity for the career that I have chosen,” she says. “I just want my life to be stable in the next couple of years and hopefully with a good guy next to me.”

Oh yeah – guys, Jana’s available. Sort of. 

She hints that she’s been seeing a prominent television personality but the details “are secret.”

“It’s nothing too serious,” she says, “just having fun.”

Yet for all the glamour and glitter, she fantasizes most about the simple life – settling down.

“I fantasize about getting married a lot, I don’t know why,” she says. “But I hope it happens soon!”

And giving hope to balding, middle-aged guys everywhere, Jana says her ideal man is pretty simple:  “I look for a man with a good sense of humor that can make me laugh … that’s pretty much it.”
